Meet the Walkers
Mike — Owner & Walker
Growing up surrounded by family dogs, I developed a love for them at a young age, but it was in 2011 when I rescued a stray (Grizzlie the Chocolate Lab in photo) while on a teaching venture, that my passion for dogs grew exponentially.
In the years since, I invested a lot of time educating myself on canines (training, obedience, dog safety, behaviour, breeds, etc.) via several hours of training classes, workshops, interacting with dogs, and walking them. Currently, I have a Sheepadoodle (Zoe) who I adore, and I spend a lot of my time walking trails, training, and enjoying life with her. She has benefited greatly from being able to socialize, play with and learn from a lot of our clients’ amazing dogs. |
Lisa — Walker
I have loved dogs ever since I can remember. As a toddler, I begged my parents to keep a lost dog that I brought home (after extensive efforts to locate the owners were unsuccessful).
As an adult, I rescued a Boston Terrier (Maddie) who taught me a lot of patience, and required me to develop the necessary training knowledge to solve her behavioural challenges. Currently, I have a sweet Shih Tzu (Rosie), who gets the benefit of meeting and socializing with so many of our clients’ dogs—she's living the life! As your dog walker, your dog will benefit from my upbeat, energetic, and confident demeanour. The dogs always have a blast under my care, and come home exhausted—all with their safety as my top priority. |
Becky — Walker
Growing up in a small town in the Ottawa Valley, I watched my grandmother provide the most tender loving care to any animal that crossed her path—be it dog, cat, goat, rabbit, or duck! This left me with a great respect for all living things and an instant connection to anything with an adorable face.
Once I graduated from University, I found myself spending a lot of my free time hanging out with other people's pets. I finally became a dog owner to a wonderful Shih-Tzu Poodle named Finn, who is now almost 14. It is an amazing opportunity to be part of your dog's day. I provide a fun and safe experience that will stimulate your dog, leaving them fulfilled and ready for a nap! |
